REUNION EVENT INFORMATION 

Date: June 20-22, 2008 

Location: Soldotna, Alaska 

Friday, June 20, 2008

Beach Party at Kenai Beach – Nothing says Alaskan Summer Nights like the beach, hotdogs, s’mores, camp fire and good friends.

Time: 6:00PM to 10:00PM

What to Bring: This is a BYOS (Bring Your Own Stuff) family friendly event.

Some things to bring are: Hotdogs with fixings, Marshmallows with s’more fixings, sticks or anything to cook your food on, wood for “warming fire”, blanket or beach towel, chair, cooler with ice and drinks (soda, juice, water or “adult beverages”), games, kites, buckets to build sand castles, guitar and of course yourself and your family!

****Please note: This event is weather permitting. If it rains, we will meet at the Diamond M Ranch off K-Beach road for the Summer Solstice Festival from 6PM to 10PM. $5 entry fee for Adults (12 and up) Children (11 and under) are free – to be paid AT Diamond M Ranch.

Update our Class Photo – Lets head back to our old stomping grounds and update our class photo in the same spot below the “senior” balcony where our last photo was taken!

Time: 11:00AM to 12:00PM 
***Lunch is on your own.  

Class Dinner at The Kenai Landing – Let’s grab a bite to eat at the Kenai Landing and reminisce about old times, catch up with class mates, check out our old senior video - with tunes from 1998 prepared especially for this occasion!

Time: 5:00PM to 8:00PM

Our menu includes: to be determined.

Cost: This is an Adults-Only event since it will roll over into our Night Life event starting at the Kenai Landing. The cost is $25 per adult. Advanced payment is required and must be sent in with the RSVP form.  

Night Life @ The Kenai Landing, The Duck Inn and Hooligans – It’s Summer Solstice time! What better way to celebrate Summer Solstice than at the Kenai Landing (we are hoping to have some live entertainment), some good ol’ Karaoke at The Duck, and then dancing at Hooligans (The old Goodnight Inn) and The Riverside House.

      Time: 8:00PM to Whenever your peepers close

This is a BYOB (Buy Your Own Booze) Adults-Only event. Please be sure to bring your I.D. and your confidence to sing, dance or both!

To keep our alumni safe, we have contacted *Alaska Cab* who will offer discounted rates for our alumni this evening! Please do NOT drink and drive, if you feel you have had a bit too much to drink, please call 907-283-6000 and request a cab!

Class BBQ at Soldotna Creek Park – End our 10-year reunion with a bang! The BIGGEST family friendly event of the reunion, our BBQ. Enjoy good food, music, good conversation, activities for the kids and be sure to get contact information from long lost friends so you can keep in touch!

Time: 12:00PM – 4:00PM

What to bring: Chairs, blankets or towels, yourself and your appetite!

What to expect: BBQ Pork ribs, BBQ Chicken, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, (hotdogs and chips will be provided for children 4 and under), cake, cookies, soda from Pepsi Co. and Coca-Cola, event tent provided by ConocoPhillips, The Bounce house, balloons and bubbles for the kids.

Cost: $20 per Adult (12 and up) and Children under 11 are free.

Advanced payment is required and must be sent in with the RSVP form.

We will also have a Reunion DVD available for purchase. The DVD will comprise of our Senior Class video from our Graduation, videos and photos from our 10-year class reunion. The information to order the DVD will be on the RSVP form.
